la pluie se cherche une riviève

“I lend a voice a body a face
for so little sun in the cold water
the amnesia of your skin as river"

– Hugo Bourdelais

This film brings spoken poetry together with the slow movement of water, and explores the ties between water, people and nature.

Filmed in Joliette in the winter of 2022, along the L'Assomption River, it features performances by Andréane Frenette-Vallières, Noémie Pomerleau-Cloutier and Hugo Bourdelais.
